Anyone who has read Just Kids is spellbounded by Patti's compassion, non-judgmental, chilled-out spirit. She roamed around the NY scene of the 60's floating around some of the most influential
artists of the time, strangely In and Out of all the smoke and mirrors that surrounded her. She was consumed with the desire to make art. That was what guided her. I believe it's her uncompromising truthfulness that makes her so appealing, whether its in her style, music or writing. Her willingness to 'lay bare'. She is a true inspiration and we can't get enough of her.
